Spotting Highly Regarded Internet Marketing Videos
In this day and age, it’s all about the web presence. Simply put, you won’t get anywhere without an online presence, no matter how good your product or service. So how do you get to be a genius at internet marketing? Well, there’s trial and error. The good thing about that is that internet marketing is cheap, so you only invest your time, but man, what a lot of time to invest before you figure it out. Others simply take a helping hand and watch internet marketing videos! Well, the qualities listed below are what you might call “requisite”. They don’t HAVE to hit every single one of these, but if they don’t offer ANY of them, then what are they really offering? Of course, you should also just trust your instincts if you see a video that really wows you. We all learn in different ways, and you know how you learn better than anyone, so keep these points in mind, but follow your instincts.
Professional Quality Recording
It doesn’t need to look like a big budget Hollywood movie, it doesn’t even need to be shot in hi def. But, it should at least look OKAY. It shouldn’t look like some junk someone shot on a VHS camcorder that they borrowed from their grandpa. As important as the video quality is, editing is even more important. Some people just don’t care about the quality of the product, so they just point a camera at the stage and call it a day. Look for something that was actually filmed and edited by a professional crew.
Skip the Screenshots
Some of these marketing vids are really just screenshots with a voice over. Again, this comes down to PRIDE. If the marketing guru doesn’t take pride in the presentation of his own product, then what does he really know when it comes to teaching YOU how to take pride in your own presentation? If it’s obvious that they just plain do not care, then the fact is, they just plain do not care. Just plain old screenshots means that they’re probably just trying to make a quick buck off of you.
Seminar Footage
With the video medium, you should expect seminars and then some, because there is more you can do with video. But, if you don’t see any seminar footage in the video at all, then that may well mean that all you’re really getting is a preview of what you can REALLY learn when you attend a seminar. This is no good. The reason you’re getting the video is because you don’t have the time to attend a seminar! So you want a full course in the video, and that should include footage from the seminar.
Strong Advice
If you don’t see any good, practical, sensible advice being offered, then skip it. If there’s any murkiness, double talk, if there’s anything in there that doesn’t make sense, then you might just be getting roped into a Ponzi scheme or something. If it doesn’t make good, clear sense, then they probably don’t have anything useful to say to entrepreneurs trying to make it on their own terms.
